Project False Lash

Today's post is going to be dedicated to my mission for this year. I've tried numerous amount of times to apply false lashes with all of them being unsuccessful. I love the look of false lashes whether they be big full ones for night outs of just natural ones for everyday but either way I can never get the hang of applying them. I even tried single lashes and still was incapableSo I guess one of my new years promises to myself is to practice practice practice and hopefully get over my inability to apply them so I can wear them more often! I bought these cheap Primark false lashes to practice with, at only £1 each I thought it wouldn't matter as much if they get used and abused!

Have any of you got any tips or tricks on applying false lashes?

11 lovelies have something to say:

  1. I love false lashes i just put the glue on them and put them straight on to my eyelashes with my fingers i don't bother waiting for the glue to go tacky it never sticks for me that way and my fingers are just easier than tweezers! :) x

  2. I'm pretty rubbish at applying them too haha :D i can usually do one eye and then the other never works out. I tend to grab someone in the house or pop over to my cousins house and she'll apply them for me :P

  3. Before you put glue on them, curl the band around your finger so they mimic the curve of your eyelid & the corners won't keep coming away! And put them up against your eye before applying glue, so if they're too long, you can cut a bit off!

  4. It took me so long to figure this out, but after hours of watching youtube videos i can make them look acceptable. i got the girls aloud ones, as they are only around £3 and look amazing. i curl it around my finger first, then apply the glue very thinly and leave them for a minute (honestly this is a must otherwise the glue ends up everywhere), then press them as close as the lash line as possible always start with the inner eye to make sure they are placed in the correct place and then get a cotton bud and press along the rest of the false lash.
    hope this helps! Paige-abigail xoxo

  5. Hun you should try the Amazing shine lashes, number 73's. Most amazing lashes i have every tried when you put them on they look like your own lashes add abit of mascara until they are as dramatic as you want them :) They have a really thin band so easy to apply and really check on amazon if you buy a couple at a time :) x

  7. I just bought the primark 'sultry' lashes the other day, i can't wait to test them! i'd say that applying with tweezers is SO much easier and defo wait about 50 seconds after applying glue to the lash so it goes tacky. i always find it hard to apply them haha and it's such a pain when you've done your make up so nice and the glue messes it up, makes me want to try! i love the MUA lashes in 'sassy' they're probably my fav atm xx
