My 2013 Favourite Summer Scent

I was kindly sent some products from The Body Shop to trial out as part of their summer line and have fallen in love with it all. I was sent this Strawberry EDT*, Satsuma Body Polish* and The All In One Blusher in 06-Guava*. Ever since receiving the package I have fallen in love with this fragrance and it has now become my favourite scent for this summer. I love sweet fragrances anyway so when I saw this was Strawberry my first thought was "Is it going to smell like artificial strawberry?". And to my delight is does not! Very strangely it reminds me of when I was about 13/14 years old because its a dead ringer for Paris Hilton's original perfume which I wore all the time at that age.

This fragrance contains actual Strawberry extract and is available in a 30ml size from The Body Shop website for £8.50 £4.25 (it's part of the sale at the moment so go quick!). I would give this fragrance 10/10 and would definitely recommend for anyone who loves sweet, fruity fragrances.

Have you tried any of the Body Shop EDT's before?

Jimmy Choo Perfume Review

Jimmy Choo 40ml EDT

Hello Lovelies, From the picture above and the title of this post you can probably tell this is a little review on one of my favourite fragrances at the moment, Jimmy Choo.

As you may by know I work in Duty Free at Gatwick so I get a chance to smell a lot of new perfumes and when this perfume was released I loved it instantly.
I love very sweet perfumes. Anything that smells like sweets or fruit is a favourite of mine.

The Notes

Top
Green Notes & Pear Nectar

Middle
Sweet Orange & Tiger Orchid

Base
Toffee & Indonesian Patchouli

So as you can tell from the notes this is a very sweet perfume. If you look anywhere for its description you will see the word 'sweet' pop up everywhere. I don't actually think there is many other words to describe it.
The bottle is just stunning. Its like no other I have come across before and it really does give a luxurious feel to my perfume collection.

Rate
7/10

This fragrance is available in Eau De Toilette & Eau De Parfum.
The sizes available are 40ml, 60ml & 100ml.
It is available from The Perfume Shop and many other retailers.

Gucci Première Review

Hello Lovelies...

Today I am going to review the newest collection to the Gucci fragrance range: Gucci Première. I purchased this fragrance a couple of months back in July and have been in love with it ever since.

“Première will be the female counterpart to the male Gucci by Gucci,”
- Luigi Feola, Vice President of Procter & Gamble Prestige.

Referring to this quote is why I guess the design of the bottle is very similar to Gucci by Gucci for men just replaced with a shiny gold finish. It's not quite so opaque that you can't see the liquid inside yet annoyingly still leaves fingerprints on the bottle. I love that even with it just sitting on my perfume tray I feel all elegant and posh ha.

It is made up of the following:-
Top Notes: Bergamot & Orange Blossom
Heart Notes: White Flowers & Musk
Base Notes: Leather & Wood

This isn't a usual fragrance for me as I prefer quite light & fruity fragrances such as Juicy Couture & Boss Orange. But it definitely works as a night time/going out fragrance of mine and that's exactly when I've been wearing it.

The face of the fragrance is the ever so beautiful Blake Lively. Just like many advertisements for fragrances at the moment she stars as a glamorous girl in a couture dress staring out of a window of a building which resembles the bottle of the fragrance with a cracking soundtrack behind her.

It is available in 30ml (£44.50), 50ml (£63.50) and 75ml (£76.50). You can purchase it from The Fragrance Shop (link). I know it's quite a pricey fragrance but it is well worth it. Plus it does come in handy that I work in Duty Free at Gatwick so I get it tax free!

Have you tried this fragrance? What are your thoughts on it?
