Product Fail: No7 Cleansing Water

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water

Whether your big on your skincare, a beauty blogger or just into your beauty items you may of realised there has been a big to do recently over cleansing waters or their posh name Micellar Water. I would love to try some high end ones such as the Caudalie Make Up Remover or the ever so famous Bioderma but at the moment my budget just doesn't stretch that far. So I've been on the hunt for a high street friendly version, my first pick was the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water.
I was so excited to try this out as I love nothing more after being up since 2.30am and being at work for 9 hours then to get home and have the simplest option possible to remove my makeup quickly and efficiently. Many of you had tweeted me and raved about this so I had nothing but high hopes. But I was left disappointed after giving it a go for 2 weeks. Although it did remove minimal amount of makeup I felt it really was just moving it around my face. Maybe I wasn't doing something right or there's a certain way to get the best out of it.
I would give this product a 3/10 and name it a product fail!
It's available from Boots for £9.00.
Let me know how you got on with it and if you love this product why?

6 lovelies have something to say:

  1. I've got this and find it quite nice but it's also quite sticky on the skin. The L'Oreal one is much nicer :) x

  2. Just the name makes me laugh. "cleansing water" are they really trying to just sell us fancy water now? I've heard so many people rant about how awful it is. This is what I love about blogging, finding out the truth about products! Thanks for sharing :)
