Benefit Fake Up Concealer

As mentioned in a couple of my previous posts, last month I got invited along to the Benefit Fake Up Bloggers Event in Brighton. The sole reason we were there was to find out about their latest product which was released on the 31st March, Fake Up Concealer.
It's available in 3 shades Light, Medium and Dark. It comes packaged in a sleek silver tube embossed with pretty pink scrolls and fake up written in a fancy font. Cute isn't it. What makes this different from the endless amount of concealers on the market I hear you ask? Well it's essentially a 2-in-1 product. Around the actual concealer product is a moisturising balm ring which includes skin smoothing and plumping ingredients such as Vitamin E (which we all know helps prevent aging!) and apple seed extract which is used to help brighten dull looking skin.

(Apologies for the state of the Light shade, I've been using it to death since receiving it.)
As we were kindly given all three shades we were also shown how we could use the Dark shade as a contouring product. When I first applied it to my hand at the event I did initially feel it was going to be very tacky but now after using it, its my understanding that this is the moisturising agent in the product and once applied to the face it's not at all sticky. The formula is of a sheer coverage so blends wonderfully and is great for dark circles and brightening under the eye. I have tried this on blemishes but as it's sheer coverage it doesn't do much.

Overall I think this is a fantastic product and great for anyone who suffers with under eye problems such as dark circles.

Benefit Fake Up Hydrating Concealer* retails at £18.50 and is available from any Benefit counter and websites such as Benefit or Boots.

Have you tried it yet?
