Eye Of Horus | New Releases | Goddess Eye Pencil

Although it's very hard to believe with the awful weather we've been having lately but soon enough spring will be on its way. And with that comes new fashion trends, hopefully better weather and what I'm most excited about new makeup products and makeup trends.

Today I want to talk about the new Goddess Eye Pencil shades being released by cult Australian makeup brand Eye Of Horus. There are going to be two new shades both look gorgeous as each other and I definitely want them in my collection.

First up is Jewel Amethyst, a pigmented deep purple shade with purple micro glitter. This would look amazing on anyone but most of all green eyes. I love the look they used on the model in the picture above and will probably try to recreate it one day (if I can be as artistic that is!).

Next is Lazuli Blue, a vibrant electric blue that will help create the perfect blue smokey eye. I must admit blue eyeliner is one I've always avoided only reminding me of the 80's but I think if it's the right shade of blue it can definitely look good. Again I love the look created on the model.

These two new shades join the already acclaimed Goddess Eye Pencil collection. Inspired by natures alluring colours, they inject some on trend colour into their Spring-Summer makeup collection. They claim to be highly pigmented, easy to apply and with a handy little smudger applicator on the opposite end. Their formula is waterproof, smudge-proof and long lasting. Perfect for everyday use and can easily transfer a look from day to night.

Eye of Horus do not test on animals, their products are paraben-free and rich in essential oils and natural waxes.

Eye of Horus was born to make every woman, no matter what age, feel beautiful.

Available to purchase from their website or Cocktail Cosmetics for £13.

Have you ever tried any Eye of Horus products before?

Zoya Lovely Collection for Spring 2013

Today i'm here to talk about another Spring 2013 collection I'm excited about. I'm a bit late as these are already available to buy but I thought whats the harm in sharing the beauty that is these new shades. The only downside to these are they are very hard maybe even impossible to get hold of in the UK. So you could always try eBay or maybe a swap with someone lovely in the US. Anyway onto the shades...

"Spring is awash in six soft and lovely new Zoya shades including three dewy metallics and three fresh blooms of cream. Poetic in nature, this collection is sure to capture the beauty of the season like no other."

Julie
Julie can be best described as a full coverage, soft wisteria purple metallic. The soft colour and subtle shimmer give nails a feminine and delicate look. Originally created as a custom runway shade for fashion designer Zang Toi.

Neely
Neely can be best described as a full coverage earliest spring green in a glossy creme finish. A fun colour in muted finish gives a cool vintage edge to your look. Originally created as a custom runway shade for fashion designer Peter Som.

Jacqueline
Jacqueline can be best described as a full coverage perfect magnolia nude cream. This light creamy beige has slight warm undertones and a glossy cream finish. Originally created as a custom runway shade for fashion designer Peter Som.

GeiGei
GeiGei can be best described as a full coverage blushing cherry blossom pink metallic. A shimmery light shade for an always-appropriate natural pink nail look. Originally created as a custom runway shade for fashion designer Zang Toi.

Piaf
Piaf can be best described as a full coverage fresh forsythia yellow metallic. A light, cheerful yellow that's soft and easy to wear thanks to the subtle shimmer finish. Originally created as a custom runway shade for fashion designer Zang Toi.

Blu
Blu can be described as a full coverage soft and delicate pale baby blue with a glossy creme finish. A dreamy, calming blue that's both fun and flattering on the nails.

I absolutely adore this collection and only wish it was easier to get hold of in the UK. My favourite shades have to be Neely, Julie and Jacqueline. All information was found from the Zoya website.

butter London Spring 2013 Nail Polish

Spring 2013, Please Hurry. I can't wait for Spring to properly arrive so I can not nearly freeze to death every day! Also exciting for Spring is new collections!! Whether it be nails, makeup or clothes I get excited to see whats on it's way. The major trend with nails this year seems to be pastels. A lot of companies are all releasing pastel shades. I thought I'd show you what butter London has up for grabs already...

Cuppa
Described on the site as 'A toasted opaque tan creme colour. Both a perfect neutral and statement maker in one.' I love neutral brown colours and so far the only one I own is Barry M Mushroom.

Fiver
Described as 'An opaque icy mint creme colour'. From the picture it looks a lot like a tiffany blue kind of colour. I own Revlons 'Minted' which is probably the closest.

Fruit Machine
Described as 'Opaque punchy carnation creme colour' What else is there to say about this, It's pink and I LOVE IT!! Although I don't own anything like this as it's a pink/purple so think this may be my favourite!

Jasper
Described as a 'Opaque bright pastel yellow creme colour'. The only yellow I own is OPI's 'Need Sunglasses?' and I still struggle to wear it so not sure this would make a good debut in my collection.

Kerfuffle
It's description is a 'Opaque pink coral colour'. Simply a lovely spring/summer colour. And usually these colours can sometimes help you appear more tanned which is a bonus!

Molly Coddled
'Opaque lavender orchid creme colour'. This sounds like such a luscious colour and will look amazing in Summer when the says are filled with sunshine and heat!

All these colours are available from the butter London website, Boots or Harvey Nichols.

Which is your favourite?
