Products I Regret Buying | MUA Undress Your Skin Flawless Skin Primer

This is the first regret post I've ever written I believe. And it's a very rare occasion I find a product I don't love but that's life and not every product works for every single person. I love MUA as a brand and up until now hadn't had a single problem with any of their products. I love their eyeshadows and even their original primer. When the Undress Your Skin range came out and I saw they had a new primer I was more than excited to try it out. I loved the texture but then the problem hit as soon as I applied it to my face. As I rubbed in the product it just turned into little balls and didn't actually stay on my skin. I thought maybe I had applied it too soon after my moisturizer so felt obliged to give it another go. But to my dismay the same thing happened every time I applied it. I don't know if I'm doing it right but I got the same outcome every time. I tried applying it with my fingers, a brush and a sponge but nothing changed. I know the MUA brand is cheap so I don't always expect the most amazing outcome but I do expect the product to stay on my face and not roll up into little balls of product.

If you want to try the primer out for yourself then it's available from the MUA site for £5.
Let me know how you get on with it or if you already own it am I using it wrong?

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Review

I'm not going to lie, when it comes to taking my makeup off I am lazy! Anything that involves more then a simple wipe away was far too much hard work for me until I got to try this little beauty out. I bought the Elemis Balancing Lavender Toner which I will have a review up of soon and as a result received a lovely free gift with a few different products in to try. One of those freebies being the new Cleansing Balm and also the new Illuminating Flash Balm. When you buy the full size which is available from the timetospa website for £39.50 you also get a cleansing cloth which was also included in the free gift.

My initial thought was that I wasn't going to get on with it, use it once and then chuck it in a drawer never to be seen or used again. Oh how I was wrong!! I am now fully converted and can't even think of removing my makeup with anything else. The directions state to scoop a small amount and massage the balm onto dry skin for approximately 5 minutes. Leave for a couple of minutes to dissolve makeup and grime then wet fingertips and continue to massage to turn the balm into a milky texture. Wet the cleansing cloth with warm water and wipe away. I've been recommended to double cleanse so I use a Garnier cream cleanser first then this and its amazing how you think you've removed all your makeup then actually seeing how much muck is still left on your face. I have seen a major difference in my skin from using this and the Elemis Lavender toner. I urge you all to at least try this out and see what you think. It's great for all skin types and doesn't leave a greasy film on your skin at all. Definitely a 10/10 product for me and a holy grail part of my skincare routine.

Have you tried this out yet?

Product Fail: No7 Cleansing Water

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water

Whether your big on your skincare, a beauty blogger or just into your beauty items you may of realised there has been a big to do recently over cleansing waters or their posh name Micellar Water. I would love to try some high end ones such as the Caudalie Make Up Remover or the ever so famous Bioderma but at the moment my budget just doesn't stretch that far. So I've been on the hunt for a high street friendly version, my first pick was the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water.
I was so excited to try this out as I love nothing more after being up since 2.30am and being at work for 9 hours then to get home and have the simplest option possible to remove my makeup quickly and efficiently. Many of you had tweeted me and raved about this so I had nothing but high hopes. But I was left disappointed after giving it a go for 2 weeks. Although it did remove minimal amount of makeup I felt it really was just moving it around my face. Maybe I wasn't doing something right or there's a certain way to get the best out of it.
I would give this product a 3/10 and name it a product fail!
It's available from Boots for £9.00.
Let me know how you got on with it and if you love this product why?
