New Year, New Laptop, Fresh Start

 

Hey! Well this feels strange. Long time no see, The last time I blogged was May 2014! As some of you may know I had major laptop issues which I thought I had sold with treating myself to an iPad. Little did I know that blogging on an iPad wasn't the easiest thing along with a demanding full time job, I just thought it was best to leave it until I could properly sort it all out rather than post just alright posts with hardly any pictures.

 

So here I am! I decided to treat myself to a new laptop on Boxing Day. It was a total spur of the moment buy and didn't expect to buy it but it was one of those (dare I say it) YOLO moments! I just cringed writing that ha! So how have I been?

 

 

 

I had an ok Christmas. I was ill and had to work up to Christmas Eve. We actually had our Christmas Day on Christmas Eve as my mum was working on Christmas Day. Because I was ill I didn't enjoy Christmas dinner at all and spent most of actual Christmas Day sleeping. Luckily because my sister was away in America working on the Disney Cruise we had a 2nd Christmas when she returned, this time I was fit and ready to devour my Christmas dinner.

 

New Years was also a bit of a dud, I worked both NYE & NYD. I tried to stay up til midnight but flaked at bout 11.30! But I did have to be up at 3.30am to go to work so I do believe that's justified!

 

Besides that I've just been working really, Christmas was manic for us and I'm kinda glad its over now! I feel I can relax and obviously have more time to blog!

 

I just want to say thank you to anyone that has stayed with me, I totally understand if anyone did decide to give up on me I mean I probably would of. But look forward to plenty of new things on my blog, including my next post which will be what my sister brought back from America for me!

Instagram Update

1/ A countdown to the #BtonBloggerMeet which is on Saturday, I'm too excited to meet all the lovely girls I already know and get to know some new girls.

2/ My mum won the John Freida Luxurious Volume Shampoo, Conditioner and Blow-Dry Spray but as my mum doesn't blow dry her hair she's let me have it!

3/ After seeing someone post a picture on their Instagram (sorry I can't remember who it was) that they found all the American food in their Tesco's, off I went with my mum on the search for it and I found it!!

4/ A little treat to myself for breakfast. My mum made her amazing pancakes and I added maple syrup (the authentic American stuff, Aunt Jamima's, check it out it's amazing!) and strawberrys and it was yummy!

5/ I bought 5 Essie polishes for £15 through Wowcher, which my sister kindly pointed the offer out to me.

6/ We had an event day at work to push summer fragrances and with my yellow scarf and big bun in I felt my inner air hostess come out!

7/ The joys of working within beauty, I won all these goodies!!

8/ I got myself a Lauren's Way Big Bun as the average size donut wasn't sufficient enough for the length of hair I have. But what scares me is they do one bigger than this one!
