Bath & Body Works Candles

Some of you may be thinking "Oh God not again!!" BUT for me at least this got me excited. So I know I did a post telling you all about the fact that this website 'Bath and Body Shop' which you can go visit here sells the Slatkin & Co candles which are the popular talk of the beauty world as we are entering Autumn.

Well if you recall my post or fancy a read of it just go here and back then they only had the 4oz. candles for sale for £9.25. Last night, after watching a bunch of Bath and Body Works hauls I got super jealous and wished I lived in the magical land of the USA. Then I remembered about this site and thought I'll just do a little window shopping and discovered that they now sell the 14.5oz. They are £19.99 which does make me double think BUT considering they come from America I think treating myself to 1 won't hurt too much!

Topshop AW11 Makeup Collection: Smoke & Mirrors

So I'm sure most of you have seen this collection either from posts from other bloggers or maybe in store but I thought I would just give my thoughts on it.

So above is the products in their packaging so lets start with that. I love this packaging. Feels very autumn and a tad tribal. I love the golds on the black backgrounds. I like all the Topshop packaging even on their core collection which is available all year round. Onto the actual products...

1- Nails in 'Bourbon' £6

I love this colour. I have a thing from browny/red nail polish's around autumn time, they just scream AUTUMN to me! Hehe. I don't own any Topshop nail polishes but this may be the one to break that.

2- Nails in 'Prim And Proper' £6

This colour doesn't exactly remind me of autumn or winter but who doesn't love a dusky rosey pink colour! Although I do love this I already own a lot of polishes similar so don't think this one will be coming home with me.

3- Eye Palette in 'Secret Liaisons' £12.50
This palette looks like it was made for me! I am a very big neutral girl and hardly stray away from my browns/golds/champagnes so of course I'm going to love this palette. Also this is perfect for going from natural to smokey for a day to night look.

4- Glow Highlighter in 'Polished' £9
This is a cream highlighter with pearl to enhance and highlight. Never tried a cream highlighter and not really tempted to with this. I think I'll stick to my liquid & powder highlighters, sorry Topshop!

5- Bronzer and Blush in 'Burning Embers' £12.50
Er does this product remind anyone of a recent product by a big Makeup brand (MAC Wonder Woman Collection anyone??) But who am I kidding a similar product at a cheaper price YES PLEASE!

6- Lash Extender Mascara in 'Black Velvet' £10
I'm not sure what quality their mascaras are like and at £10 don't know if I would like to pay that to find out I don't like it. Anyone who has tried it already please comment below and tell me how you found it thanks.

7- Lip & Eye Pencil Set in 'Cashmere' & 'Crushed Charcoal' £10
I love the look of these two colours. The eyeliner is a navy blue colour which is a colour I don't own yet and the lip pencil looks like the perfect nude which I've been looking for. Any recommendations??

8- Lips in 'Rumour Has It' £9
This looks like a lovely colour...just not my colour. I'm a pink lipstick kinda gal! But I can see this being a popular nude/beige colour.

9- Lips in 'Pillow Talk' £9
Now this is the shade I am liking. Definitely falls under my pink obsession. Nothing else I can say besides...I WANT IT! :)

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One B.B. Blemish Balm Cream Review...

Whoa try saying that title 3x fast!

So this post is exactly what the title says it is... a review of the 'Garnier Miracle BB Cream' for short as I don't want to be typing out it's full title every time I mention it!

As soon as I heard about this cream and what it was stated to do I knew I needed to go out and buy it. I wasn't 100% sure that it was going to do everything or even work for my skin but alas it is now my holy grail product!!

So what is it??

BB stands for Blemish Balm and they are all the rage in Asia. They claim to even out skin tone, blur imperfections. Some even have skin whitening. The Garnier version claims to do the following...

Immediate Perfected Skin
Even Skin Tone
Boosted Glow
Blurs Imperfections
Smooths Fine Lines
SPF 15
24hr Hydration

I can confirm (for me at least) that this product is a miracle! I have been looking for something that would achieve what this product has for a long time as I suffer from redness and very uneven skin tone.

It is only available in 2 shades light & medium. I opted for Light which is the perfect colour for me. If your wondering I wear NW20 in MAC foundation shades.

The packaging is probably the best way this product could be. A squeeze tube makes it possible to control the amount of product you use. And in my opinion you only need a small amount for your entire face.

It can be used as a foundation itself (although it doesn't advertise as a foundation as its very sheer coverage) or as a primer. I think it works best as a primer if you have blemishes to cover like I do and as a tinted moisturiser if you have skin with no blemishes and you just want to even the skin tone out.

Now annoyingly I didn't think to take a before shot of me with no make up although it would of taken some courage for me to do that (with my skin in the state it is at the moment) but I do have a picture of me after I used it with my makeup fully complete.

I would never say my skin looks perfect but this is as close to perfect as I think is humanly possible! So what do I think?? This is now in my everyday daily makeup routine and I love it! Definitely 5/5!!

Today I bring you a little haul from the past week of some bits and bobs I picked up. I really wanted to post this sooner but have been at work but now I am off for 9 days wooooooo! So I have plenty of time to do posts which I'm actually quite excited about!! On to the goods...

Garnier BB Cream & Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser

I don't want to talk too much about these products as I am planning to do a whole separate post about them. I absolutely adore the Garnier BB Cream, it makes my foundation look flawless after I apply it on top. I bought the light one and it's the perfect colour for my skin. I haven't tried the hot cloth cleanser yet but you will just have to look out for my separate post to see what I thought of it.

Beauty UK Glam Nails & MUA Nail Polishes & Blush

Beauty UK Glam Nails 'Golden Chestnut'

I love this colour and it is definitely the perfect colour for autumn! Even though I have sneakily worn this colour on my nails already! I got compliments at work from both colleagues and passengers about the colour and they didn't believe me when I said it was only £2.99 from Superdrug. Most thought it was Chanel for some reason!!

Beauty UK Glam Nails 'Gun Metal'

Same again with this colour. It such a nice shade of silver if that makes sense. I haven't seen any other colour quite like this before. It is nowhere near the same colour but it could kind of be classed as a cheap version of Chanels 'Graphite' if you wanted something similar but didn't want to pay the cost of a Chanel nail polish.

MUA Blush 'Shade 1'

I have never tried a MUA blush but I heard a lot of good stuff about them so I thought why not it's only £1 I'm losing out on if I don't like it. I'm hoping to write a post about cheap vs. high end make up sometime this week so look out for that.

MUA Nail Polish 'Shade 19' & 'Shade 21'

I bought both these as again they are perfect autumn colours. And at £1 each absolute bargain. I quickly did a quick test on a nail and the formula is nice and creamy and they are very pigmented for only being £1. So just the usual 2-3 coats will do!

6 Piece Mini Manicure Set

I had gotton one of these last year from Superdrug but like most things slowly 1 by 1 things started to go missing so I thought I'd just replace it. So I walked into Superdrug and wandered over to the nail care area and saw this cute little manicure set. Only £2.99 as well bargain!

Autumn Bracelet from Primark

I found this lovely bracelet whilst rummaging around the jewellery section and immediately fell in love with it. I wear it everyday to work and everyone is always shocked to hear that its from Primark! And for only £2 its a great bargain!

New Look Wishlist

We all have our wish lists right? Those lists you create in your head or on paper or even by placing the products in the virtual shopping basket! But half the time my shoppers guilt sets in and I delete the entire basket or screw up the paper and chuck it in the bin.

But I thought I would share with you my current favourites from New Look...Some items being from their new Autumn range.

I recently bought myself a new SLR camera as I've always wanted 1 and thought it was about time to bite the bullet and purchase one. I will be doing a post about it later on. Anyway on to what this post is really about My MAC lipstick collection!!

Hi. My name is Adele and I'm a lipstick addict! Haha. So lipsticks was 1 of the first things I ever bought from MAC and from then onward I got addicted! I have recently laid off buying them the past couple of months as I'm trying to save money. Apologies for my swatch photos. This is the first time I've attempted a post with swatches.

A Very Late April Favourites...

I was deciding whether to write this post as it's so late but I thought oh what the hell...

So here are my favourites of April...

1. MAC 'Pink Friday' L/E Lipstick. I ordered this just because it was Nicki Minaj and it was limited edition...yes i'm a sucker for stuff like that. I never thought I'd ever wear it apart from the occasional night out but I found myself reaching for it all throughout April.

2. Barry M 'Flamingo Pink' Nail Paint. I absolutely love this colour this summer and wore it basically all of April (I know a little early for summer but it has been quite warm) It's the perfect coral/pink colour.

3. Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Powder Foundation. Isn't that a mouthful but I love this product. I can't seem to find a good liquid foundation that doesn't go patchy half way through the day so I found this gem in my make-up drawers and re discovered it. I get compliments when I wear this so it's definitely a favourite!

4. L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream. I discovered this product where I work as someone recommended it. Since the first time I tried this I fell i love with it. So I bought a little handbag size tube so it's easier to carry round. Really moisturizes my hands and also its smells great!

5. Boots Essentials Cucumber Cleansing Wipes. I love these for quickly taking my makeup off and they smell nice and fresh (of cucumber of course) And are mostly always on 3 for £3 which is a great offer as I think they are something like £2 each packet.

6. MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush. I love this brush for applying my Maybelline powder foundation. Just blends everything into your skin perfectly! I use it sometimes for my bronzer as well.

7. Benefit It Stick. I got this free with Glamour magazine a few months back as you all probably know as there were half a billion posts about it at the time! I love this its so quick and easy to use and blends really nicely into the skin.

8. Softlips Cherry Lip Balm with SPF20. I bought this in America a while ago but never opened it. I was weary if it was still okay but it seems fine. Still has the cherry scent (but only quite faint) It really moisturizes my lips and is perfect for putting on before lipstick as my lips dry out quite a lot with lipsticks.

9. My Blackberry Curve & Ipod Touch. I just love both of these. They are my gadget favourites of April just because when I'm bored I can rely on these two things to keep my occupied!! Games, Apps, BBM everything!!

Car Boot Fun...Or Fail!

So Sunday just gone me and my mum set off to do a car boot. We had collected up stuff that was no longer loved by us and thought someone else would love more! We decided to go to one that didn't start at stupid o'clock instead at a lovely 9am. Unfortunately I'm in no way a morning person so I set us back by 30 mins oops!

We had to stop off and get some change for our money tin so my mum bought me a lovely (unhealthy but yummy) breakfast.

We finally got there and after spending 10 minutes trying to work out where to go as a seller not buyers we found our pitch and started setting up. As soon as we pulled up in the car people started swarming us like bees to a honey pot. One man even came straight up to the window and asked if we had any records..he looked rather disappointed when we said no.

Eventually we got everything out and people started to drift over and have a nose through everything. At first we had a mad rush and me & my mum had people asking us "how much is this?" left, right and centre. But after a while it settled down and we had drifters every now and then. I took a wonder round but didn't find much but did take a couple of shots of the rest of the sale.

After being there doing our best for 3 1/2 hours we called it quits as thats when most people started packing up. We made a decent amount...my mum made more then me!! I made £20 which is good i'm not complaining just could of done with making a bit more! Me and mum are already preparing for our next one sometime next month. I leave this post with a picture of my dearest mother and my make up I wore for the day.

Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You...

Long time no blog...I major failed at keeping up with the Monday summery. Damn my job shifts!! But I am here to say I'm still alive and also with a post about the ever so famous 'Slatkin & Co Candles'

So if you follow my very sparing blog posts your remember a couple of posts back I did a post about this website I found that sold Bath & Body Works stuff along with Victoria's Secret and Bomb Cosmetics etc. You can go visit it HERE. Anyway back then when I posted it they only had like 6 scents available NOW, well they have 18 yes 18 different scents now and also the option of purchasing the mini voltive candles at the nifty price of £2.99 so you can try out the scents before buying the big candle itself!!

I was going to list and put a picture of all the scents but that would just be too much hard work for me HA! I will list them all here..

China Glaze Haul...

Evening Guys!

Today my sister had a job interview in town so me & my mum took her and then after met her in town. One place me & my mum both wanted to check out was Sally's to see what China Glaze & O.P.I they had. My trouble with buying O.P.I nail polish is the fact it's like £10 a bottle and I've found a good eBay seller where you can get a bottle of O.P.I for £3-£4. Visit her eBay shop HERE and see the great selection she has. She also sells China Glaze, Essie & Orly.

Anyway without blabbing too much Sally's has buy 1 get 1 half price on china glaze! We ran into luck when we asked if the new collection was included in the deal and they said it was when really the newest collection colours are not! Hehe love it when it turns out good for me!! So as I'm on somewhat of a beauty ban.... sort of I opted to buy just 2.

Firstly I've been trying to find a nice nude colour as I own a lot of bright colours or dark winterly colours but no nudes!! Shock horror I know. So first I spotted 'Sunset Sail' from the new 'Anchors Away' collection.

First thing that came to mind was PERFECT NUDE! My mum has better nails then me so I kindly asked her to model her nails for me and she delightfully accepted. She even got excited about being on my blog bless her. She did have green ail polish on before which I made her remove hehe so her nails were a little stained.

Second one I bought was a lovely pinky rose colour called 'Fifth Avenue'. Another colour I have been trying to find so I was extra chuffed when I found both AND got 1 half price!! :)

Like I mentioned in my last post I was waiting to pick up my new car and I did finally get it and I am in love with it so much...

My Baby Peugeot 107!!

Its only a small 1 Litre but thats all I really need at the moment is a little runaround car. And a bonus is my tax is only £20 for a year! :)

Haven't really been up to much due to work and being completely broke with not even a penny to my name....oh how I envy people who are smart enough not to get any credit cards or store cards!! Thats the evil shopping in me! I bought some stuff off the lovely Cat go read her lovely blog HERE and also bought some stuff from Primark today but as I have run out of natural light to take pictures now I will do a separate post about all that tomorrow!

Why oh why can't I keep a promise?? ♥

I really need to try harder at writing these blog posts if I'm ever going to get good at this blogging shiz! So as a aid for me to do this I'm introducing Monday Summery's. I've seen these on some other girls blogs and thought hopefully this will help me keep my blog up to date and write regular blog posts. So here goes for my first Summery post!

So today was my Dads birthday. My parents aren't big on doing anything for their birthdays. So the only thing we did was pop out to the nice M&S in Shoreham to get some nice food for dinner & then into the Tesco's for his Triple layer chocolate birthday cake...YUM! In the car as usual I get bored and what do I like to do when I get bored...take pictures haha! So here are a few I took with my sisters iPod touch on 1 of her apps..

I was hoping to get a phone call to say I could go pick up my new car today but alas it never came! I'm getting a 09 plate Peugeot 107 and i'm super excited and can't wait to drive around my little beep beep soon! I would of loved to put pictures of all the different scents on here but it would of just been picture crazy!! So there is Twisted Peppermint, Snow Berry Kissed, Winter Candy Apple, Vanilla Bean Noel, Snow Mint, Vanilla Snap and Winter Cranberry. How is a girl suppose to choose???

These are just a few of the things I would love to get from this site but I would be more then broke if I got them all at once! So I think I will concentrate on getting the Christmas stuff as that will be gone after Dec!

So I was browsing the Bath & Body Works website...feeling all sad that I wish we could get it over here so in my boredness I googled "Bath & Body Works UK" and this website came up which sells B&BW, Victoria Secret, Burts Bee's, Bomb Cosmetics and a couple more to the UK and for a reasonable price as well!

You can visit their site here. I haven't ordered from them as of yet but definitely will be when I get paid! :) So the reason I was looking is because I really want some of their anti bac hand sanitizers! They are only £1.99!!!!

Hey Beauties!

I believe this is my first non-beauty post...?? Not sure but any who. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that has caught Glee fever and just felt as seen as I have a low beauty blog mojo at the moment I would do a post about 1 of my favorite t.v shows at the moment!

So I'm pretty sure EVERYONE knows what this show is about but in case there is anyone out there who doesn't basically it's about a High School glee club and the lives of the misfit teenagers in it! Now I'm a sucker for musicals (which I think I get from my sister!) so a American t.v show with singing in it..JACKPOT!

I was going to write who my favorite character was but thinking about it I love them all for different reasons! But I suppose I have to say I love Brittany! :)

Her quirky one liners and her amazing dance moves (The actress Heather Morris actually danced with Beyonce on her tour!!) She plays one of the Cheerio's who are the high schools cheerleading squad!

My favourite song would have to be their performance of 'Toxic' by Britney Spears in the latest episode 'Britney/Brittany'

I just love how good it sounded! And i loved the dance and the craziness that went along with it. (You have to have watched it to know what I'm going on about!)

I know that was a pretty random and pointless post but I felt bad for not blogging in aggggggeessssss!

Who's excited for the new collection...??

Hey Beauties!!

So I know I'm late on the bandwagon but I thought I would do a quick little post about the new MAC collection coming out...'In The Groove'. Now as you all may or may not know I work at the Airport in Duty Free and we have a MAC counter so I get giddy over any collection coming out hehe. We already have our testers & stock in and I've looked and put aside my stuff for what I want to buy on Friday. The collection does come out on Thursday but I'm off so the kind MAC girls have put them aside for me to buy! So here's what I am buying come Friday!!! :)

Hang Loose Mineralize Blush.

I can't wait to get my hands on this puppy. I have looked at the tester at work and immediately fell in love with it. Its a nice baby pink and lilac colour and gives the most amazing colour when mixed together!

Petticoat Mineralize Skinfinish.

I missed out on this when it came out with the Sugersweet collection so this time round I am not going to let it slip from my grasp! Might even have to buy a back up!! :)

Togetherness Mineralize Eyeshadow

I don't own any purple eyeshadows (I really need to break out of my neutral addiction!) And after talking to Sarah, my dear friend who works for MAC she advised me on this one. And after swatching these colours I totally agree!

Style Influencer Mineralize Eyeshadow

I must admit something to you girlies.....I only want this for the gorgeous blue colour in the middle! But I justify this buy because the white can be used on the inner corner to widen up the eye and the red/brown colour....well I'll find a use for it!! Haha.

This lipstick does look a lot like 'Viva Glam Gaga' but when swatched it does look different. I'm 50/50 on this one though.

We don't have the tester for this in yet so don't know what it's like swatched and I'm pretty sure my conscious is saying "you don't need this!!" and I don't even know if were getting this at work so we shall see!!

This is more of a dusky rose colour. Definitely something I don't have in my collection. Simple! :)

Aussome Night Out!

Last night I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Aussie Event in London By Kelly (Visit her blog here) And I had such a good time!! Even though we turned up an hour late due to Kelly's job hehe we still had a great time between the cocktails, getting our hair done by the lovely Zara & Amber and the karaoke I can't believe how fast the night went! Hey Lovelies!!

Sorry about the lack of posts recently I either get writers block and don't want to write pointless crap that no one will want to read so theres no point. Or I've just been busy with work and had a rather horrible allergic reaction to my deodorant over the weekend so kinda all got in the way of my blogging but I promise I will try my hardest at blogging more so if theres anything you would like to see just leave me a comment and I will try and get them done!!

So onto tonights blog. The other weekend I met up with the lovely Kelly (go check her blog out!!) as she very nicely invited me to the Aussie event which I am mega excited for. We thought it would be better to meet before the event to avoid any of the awkwardness of first time meeting haha. So of course we did what we do best...SHOP! Goodies From Work!!

Hey Girls! Sorry about lack of posts busy busy life! Not really an excuse but I have been meaning to update my blog in a while but as you can tell by the last post it was kinda a bad patch. BUT im back and ready to show you a little haul I got from my workplace! As you may or may not know I started a new job back in November '09 at Gatwick Airport. So I get to shop in Duty Free which is a massive bonus! So here are a few goodies I got.

Boss Orange 75ml EDT

I absolutely adore this scent! It has 'Crisp Apple', 'White Flowers', 'Vanilla' & 'Sandlewood' in it. (Copied from the Boss website hehe) This to me is such a summer scent and I cant wait to spritz myself in it for the lovely summer days ahead!

Paco Rabanne Black XS Rose (Rock'n'Roll Edition)

This is a repurchase as I had run out of this perfume a long time ago and always meant to get round to buying some more but it was just one of those things I always said "oh i'l buy it next month, i can wait!" This is a mixture of fruity/floral/woody scents which may sound horrible but if you get a chance to smell this...DO IT! On to make-up!!

Benefit Sugarbomb Powder

Benefit's little one liner is Sugarbomb is a "Sugar rush flush" face powder. I use this for blusher but also to add a little colour to my face. Its made up of 4 shades: Peach, Soft Plum, Shimmering Pink & Rose. You swirl your brush round the pot to pick up all four colours or you can even just use one colour. I sometimes like to sweep this on my nose, chin & forehead to add colour to my pale skin when I don't feel like using bronzer!

MAC Dame Edna 'Splendid' Lipglass

I couldn't get a good enough picture of the actual gloss and colour of it so I took one off of Google and I have found a description of the gloss. Its a 'Frosty Pale Pinky Coral' colour. I haven't worn this yet. I haven't felt it's been the kind of weather. I like to match my make-up to my mood/and the weather! (Weird i guess) But as seen as the weather is getting warmer i'm pretty sure i will be wearing this soon.

MAC Dame Edna 'What A Dame!' & 'Spectacle' High Light Powder's

Again like the lip glass I haven't worn either of these yet as i'm really into wearing my moon beam from Benefit. But I've swatched both on my hand and really like the outcome. One question girlie's what brush is best to high light with??

Victoria Secret Pink With A Splash Body Mist, Body Lotion & Lip Balm

First of all I like nearly all of VS smells of body lotions. I may do a post about all my VS stuff I have. One bonus to working at the airport is I can get VS stuff. Okay so back to the products. This range has the fruitiest scent I think I have ever smelt. We only have the body mist, body lotion, bronzer & lip balm in this scent at the airport but that's enough to satisfy me! The lip balm is very moisturizing which I didn't expect just for the pure fact it was so cheap. This scent whenever I spray it makes me feel so fresh. I even use the body mist on my clothes & furniture in my bedroom so that my whole room smells like it!

An Explanation!!

So I know i've said this a lot before but I am really sorry for the slack of updating my blog! My new job is going great, I've settled in nicely and and really enjoying it. And I finally got a weekend off. Great is what I thought I can finally update my blog with lots of stuff and do some youtube videos.

THINK AGAIN ADELE!

So my mum woke me up this morning telling me that my cat Tia was walking strangely and shaking so she had booked a vets appointment. So we got there and the vet said she was dehydrated and the best option was to take her to the vet hospital in town and they will put her on a drip. Then came the bad news. He said most of the time they are dehydrated because they have kidney failure. Which is what my other cat died of a couple of years ago but she was really old. Tia isn't that old. I think shes about 10 years old. Anyway I couldn't go into the vet hospital so I said a tearful goodbye in the car and then we came home. The phone rang and it was the hospital saying they had done blood tests and it didn't look good and now came the time to make a decision. We decided we didn't want to put her through anymore pain so we had to have her put down. So this is the reason why todays task of updating was unsuccessful!

Haul: Lush Halloween Goodies!

Hey Girlies!

So i was getting so annoyed because i really wanted the Lush Halloween goodies but because I'm between jobs I don't have much money and couldn't afford them. But my lovely sister offered to buy them for me and I wasn't about to turn that offer down! So i got both 'Jacko' bath ballistic & 'Ghost' shower gel!!

'Jacko Bath Ballistic'

Just by the smell of this I know I'm going to love it. It smells all spicy and exactly what fall smells like. It has Clove Bud Oil & Spearmint in it and I can't wait to try this out. I will do a review on both these things after I have used both.

'Ghost Shower Gel'

The scent of this doesn't 'WOW' me but I like it. I think I just need to get used to it. It has rose and dove orchid infusions & rose water in it. Smells like Lily Savon soap if anyone has that, that is what this smells like. On the bottle it reads...

"Spiritually uplifting, shimmery white shower gel, with haunting scent of lilies. Don't get in the shower alone!"

I love the little sayings they write on the bottles and products makes me giggle.

Hey guys!!

So sorry I haven't posted in ages! Long story basically I have a new job and I'm just in the transition of switching jobs, lots of forms to fill in for the new job etc etc! Haha I am starting at Duty Free at Gatwick airport. Quite exciting completely different to anything I've done before so nervous at the same time. I've been hauling quite a lot....Very bad!! But I have had 2 weeks off between jobs and have been bored and what do girls do best when were bored....SHOP! So I have a lot to take pictures of and put on here but thought first I would just apologise for being M.I.A and hope our all doing well!!

So I know some people may get annoyed with this post but Christmas is just around the corner (I haven't forgotten about Halloween!) So I thought I would do a post about what my 2 ultimate Christmas presents would be.

* Juicy Couture 'Viva La Juicy' Perfume

Everybody has raved about this perfume and by the way people have described this I think I would love this scent. Its a distant dream before I can buy this!

*Uggs Footwear

I really want a pair of genuine Uggs. Yes I've had the cheapo version from Primark and they are a great substitute but nothing will compare to the read deal. I am hoping to pick some up soon so I will keep you guys updated!

1.What time did you do your makeup today?

I think about 12ish. I went to get lunch.

2. What's the least expensive beauty item you used?

My NYC Smooth Mineral Pressed Foundation Powder and was only £4.99!

3. What was the biggest problem you needed to correct?

For some reason I have broken out like crazy!! Also I have to cover up some scars left over from past spots. Any suggestions people??

4. Did you apply false eyelashes?

Funny enough I did try but haven't got the hang of applying them yet!

5. Did you do anything while applying makeup?

I watched some YT videos! :)

6. Biggest makeup mishap today?

I put too much colour in my crease so had to sort of spread it with my finger. Which i used de sanitiser on first people!!

7. Did you have a makeup inspiration in mind?

Just wanted a neutral eye. Wasn't going anywhere particular today so wanted it to be casual.

8. What's the most time-consuming part of your

makeup routine?

Probably by foundation. Just because i have to make sure everything is covered up and even.

9. What's part of your routine is the most fun?

Erm doing my eyes. Eyeshadow and mascara because I just love seeing my eyes pop once I put colour on them!

10. What part of your makeup makes the biggest difference in the way you look?

Eyeliner and Mascara.

11. Neutral or colorful eyeshdaow?

Neutral.

12. Liquid or mineral foundation?

Well i use liquid foundation then put a mineral powder foundation over the top so both haha.

13. Do you do your hair or makeup first?

Hair because i usually get hot straightening my hair so don't want my make-up to smudge or anything!

14. Did you pack a makeup bag to take with you for the day?

Nope, only went to subway to pick up lunch!

15. When did you finish your makeup?

Probably about 12.30. Just because I've broke out quite badly so had a lot to cover up!

Sephora Present!

So my sister was working in America for the summer and went travelling afterwards. Of course she had to pick up her little sister some presents along the way heehee!

So she asked me to email her a list of stuff I wanted which was a pretty long list but obviously I didn't expect her to get me everything (which would have been nice though!) But this is what she did get me.

Benefit Smokin' eyes sexy eye & brow makeover kit

I haven't used this pallet yet but I already have the Benefit Brow-zings so I know that product is amazing. I would show swatches but I haven't completely worked out my new camera yet so I need to find out how to focus on close up things! But I'm so excited to try do a smokey eye look with it!

Benefit Thrrrob Blush

I love this blusher! It gives me the perfect 'turned on' flush look just as it says. Basically it does what it says on the tin (well box!) I wear it everyday to work. It also surprisingly stays on like all day which I find it hard to find a blush which will do that. Usually I am having to top up through out the day but with this I'm not having to which I love! The brush it comes with is so soft which makes it so easy to apply and nothing like the rough little ones you usually get with the product.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil 'Zero'

This eye pencil amazes me. How it doesn't wear off I really don't know. I suppose that's why it's called 24/7 haha. The only downfall is it stays on so well its hard to get off at night when I remove all my make-up! I got it in 'Zero' just because everyone shouldn't be without their trusty black eye pencil. I can't really say much more but this is a great eye pencil! Again with a swatch..when I work out my new camera I shall provide you with wonderful swatches!!

The Givenchy product was a free little sample they threw in. It has 4 samples of their Irresistible Color Satin Lipstick in shades:

02 - Beige Champagne

11 - Rose Desire

17 - Rouge Cancan

06 - Precious Rose

Also comes with a mini lip brush to apply with. I may do a little review on these to see what they are like.

Review: Barry M Nail Paint.

So i know there have been alot of reviews and posts about Barry M Nail Paints but i thought i would put my two cents in!

I love these nail polishes. They are inexpensive and they apply so smoothely and thick. Which sounds weird i know but i love when you can get a nice thick layer of nail polish on in 1-2 coats. They are avaliable to buy at Superdrug and most times then not there is a 3 for 2 offer on so grab it while you have a chance. Saying that they are not expensive at all to buy on there own... £2.89!! You can't get much better then that for the quality you recieve with these.

These are the 5 colours I own so far. And I say so far because I do plan to try and collect them all. It will be a big mission but I will complete it!! So I have

293 Grey / 295 Turquoise / 161 Vivid Purple / 262 Bright Red / 47 Black!

My favourite would have to be 293 Grey just because it is a unusual colour to find. Its not a matte nail polish yet it still gives look of one. I realise that really doesn't make sense but I'm not sure how else to describe it. I really do love these nail polishes. I think they are better quality than some higher market ones. What colours do you own and what one is your favourite??

So i'm sorry for being away and not updating this at all. Alot has been going on at the moment. I'm starting a new job which i'm so happy about!! I've been meaning to get my blog up and going for a while now and i jsut have not got round to it. I've always imagined me being able to have this amazing blog just like the ones i follow on here. I need to get to grips with doing the background etc. but hopefully with time and some help from a very very helpful blogger (her name is Holly and shes a star for helping me!) i should be able to get this thing up and running and updated very often. Hopefully not too often that you get annoyed with me! Also if you follow me on twitter (click here to follow me!) you will know that my sister is back from working in America and bought me lots of goodies back! Including a new digital camera because mine broke sadly! So i am going to be able to take decent pictures of the products i buy/review/haul!! Review: CW Thermal Straightening Balm.

I've been using Charles Worthington thermal straightening balm for a couple of weeks now and have really noticed a difference!! Before when i blowdried my hair it would go a tiny bit frizzy

until i straightened it. But now after using the CW thermal straigtening balm for about 2 weeks i notice it doesn't go the tiniest bit frizzy. Also it goes very silky and smooth, so definately does what it says on the bottle!! I would definately recommend this product for anyone who suffers

from frizziness when blowdrying hair.

At £4.49 it is definately not a bank breaker and has certainly inpressed me. It is avaliable from all drugstores. I bought mine from Superdrug but its avaliable in Boots also.

Hope this review helps some people to decide to try this product out as it is really worth it!!

Hey Girls (& Guys)

So this is my first update. And my first blog infact! I will try to keep this updated with stuff as much as possible. It will mainly contain lush and make-up hauls & pictures (Yay for pictures!!!!) But i may sometimes just update with whats going on in my life and things. So firstly i just want to say thank-you to anyone who has taken time to come and read this. Sorry if this sends you to sleep!
